However, since the saloon's range is topped by the mighty E63, it's not unreasonable to assume that Mercedes could be working on such a version for the Coupe, too.
If this is the case, then this rendering by X-Tomi could give us a glimpse of things to come, with the Coupe adopting the Sedan's front fascia, bumpers and rims.
The V8 biturbo badge on the front fenders obviously refers to the 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 engine that, like in the saloon, will most likely be offered in two outputs, with 563 HP and 603 HP, respectively, both mated to the 9-speed automatic transmission.
The E-Class Coupe will hit Merc's showrooms in Europe and North America next summer; as for the AMG, it is expected to launch by the end of 2017.
