Alongside the 4.0-liter V6, which is still part of the lineup, the automaker now offers a 5.6-liter Endurance V8 petrol unit that will go on sale from February.
Assembled in Decherd, Tennessee, it replaces the previous 317 HP (322 PS) V8 and comes with 375 HP (380 PS) and 387 lb-ft (525 Nm) of torque, delivering an estimated 8 percent lower fuel consumption and working together with a new 7-speed heavy-duty transmission instead of the previous 5-speed auto.
The new V8 is available for both the NV Cargo Van, which comes in three models: NV1500, NV2500 HD and NV3500 HD, and two roof configurations, Standard and High, as well as the NV Passenger Van, which is offered only as an NVP3500.
Prices for the Cargo version kick off from $30,880 and can reach $36,550 (excluding the $1,195 destination and handling charge), while the Passenger, which can be had for either personal or fleet use, is priced from $33,800 and tops out at $41,200.
