Nissan Titan Single Cab Drops Point Of Entry To $30k

Want to get your hands on a new Titan pickup, but don't need extra seats or the cost they carry?

Look no further, because Nissan is getting into the single-cab market for the first time, and has now released US pricing for both the Titan and Titan XD models with the smaller cabs demanded by certain commercial operators.

The manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) for the single-cab Titan technically comes in at under $30k, with the Titan S Single Cab 4x2 starting at $29,580 – but you'll have to pay a $1,195 destination charge that puts it over the top. And in any event, that's just the starting point.

Upgrade to SV trim and you're looking at $32,460 (before destination). Four-wheel drive bumps things up to $32,610 (in S trim) or $35,490 (SV). Go heavy-duty and prices start at $31,090 for the single-cab Titan XD with the 5.6-liter V8, or all the way up to $44,070 with the diesel 4x4 in SV trim.

These prices undercut the double-cab model by a good few thousand: as we reported previously, the base Titan Crew Cab S 4x2 starts at $34,780, the XD version tipping things over the $40k mark. That's a big difference for fleet operators especially, which often prefer the more cost-effective single-cab option, accounting for a 10-percent market share that Nissan has, until now, left entirely up to its competitors.
