Presented to VIP guests at exclusive private appointments, the high-performance machine can also be viewed at the brand's Tokyo showroom, where it will remain until November 16. However, the Chiron will return to the Japanese capital in time for Christmas.
"Japanese super sports car customers have well-developed understanding and considerable passion for technological masterpieces of the highest quality and for the ultimate in luxury. This is why the resonance created by the Chiron here in Japan is outstanding", said Member of the Board of Management responsible for Sales, Marketing and Customer Service, Stefan Brungs.
According to Bugatti, approximately six percent of the orders received for the Chiron so far have been placed by clients from Japan. In comparison, only around 2.5 percent or a little over 10 out of the 450 Veyrons (the firm's previous hypercar) that Bugatti produced landed into Japanese hands.
