Available from $22,485, the new Hyundai Elantra Sport comes with a 1.6-liter Turbo-GDI engine paired to a six-speed manual gearbox, producing 201 horsepower (204 PS) and 195 pound-feet (264 Nm) of torque. Hyundai also offers a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox as an option.
Both versions of the new model benefit from a multi-link rear suspension, revised steering, upgraded brakes and a special set of 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in all-season tires. Other features include HID headlights, LED DRLs and taillights, black hexagonal grille with 'Turbo' badge, side sill extensions, rear-bumper diffuser insert and dual chrome exhaust tips.
Complementing the tweaked exterior is a long list of interior features that includes leather upholstery, red contrast stitching, heated sport front seats, flat-bottomed steering wheel, black headliner, 7-inch display, AM/FM/HD/SiriusXM, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, and proximity key with push-button start.
For an additional $2,400, the Premium Package becomes available, offering an 8-inch navigation system, Infinity premium audio system, Blue Link connectivity, power sunroof, dual-zone climate control, auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink and compass, Blind Spot Detection with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Lane Change Assist.
