Nakai-san’s tuned Porsches are exactly the opposite of the new, modern, factory-stock ones: they’re loud, wide and totally OTT.
It might not sit well with purists, especially as making one requires the butchering of a naturally-aspirated, air-cooled 911, but the RWBs are exclusive machines manufactured by hand, and Nakai-san’s level of craftsmanship is extraordinary.
Don’t get fooled by its looks, though, because it’s a 1990 964-gen 911, crafted to look like the iconic 930. Apart from the humongous wheel-arches, there's a rather hefty ducktail spoiler that houses the massive intercooler for the custom-made turbocharged, 3.6-litre flat-six. As you’d expect, the list of modifications it features is complex, ranging from 356 components to ground control adjustable top hats.
The car is up for sale at Hemmings for a cool $219,888.
