The car, based around the compact March (known elsewhere as the Micra), comes courtesy of designers from the firm's Brazilian design studio and is believed to be a one-off.
Based around the outgoing model, rather than the recently-revealed 2017 Micra, the car adopts numerous distinctive components, most notably the bespoke front fascia with a gaping wide grille and prominent lower lip spoiler. Additionally, the car has been adorned in a special shade of red complemented by a black livery, roof, pillars and wing mirrors.
While no interior pictures have been issued by Nissan, the automaker says that it too has been tweaked and now includes a glossy black finish on the steering wheel, gear selector, multimedia system frame and window switches. Elsewhere the March Midnight Edition includes highlighted stitching throughout.
