Hyundai Offering Host Of Incentives To VW Diesel Owners

#Hyundai is offering U.S. owners of diesel Volkswagen models embroiled in the emissions scandal a host of incentives to get them into the South Korean firm's models.

Owners of Volkswagen cars who qualify will receive Hyundai's Friends & Family Plus vehicle pricing for all new vehicles. This includes the gross dealer invoice price, a 3 per cent discount off the MSRP, an additional $1,250 discount off the purchase price and any other eligible incentives active at the time of purchase.

Vehicle's eligible for the discounts are 2013-2015 Beetle models, 2010-2013 Golf two-doors, 2010-2015 Golf four-doors, 2015 Golf SportWagen, 2009-2015 Jetta, 2009-2014 Jetta SportWagen, 2012-2015 Passat and 2010-2013, 2015 Audi A3 models.

Hyundai isn't the only marque looking to capitalize on VW's diesel scandal. Earlier in the month, General Motors said it would target VW owners with its new range of diesel models, including the upcoming diesel Equinox, Cruze sedan and Cruze hatchback.
