#BMW said it will be attending this year's Los Angeles Auto Show with a wide range of cars, from the 'eco-friendly' 330e to the potent #Alpina B7, but there was no mention of the new 5-Series or any other world premiere, for that matter.

The company's LA show lineup will include the $44,695 330e iPerformance that combines a 2.0-liter turbo'd four-banger with an electric motor for a total system output of 248 horsepower and 310 pound-feet (420 Nm) of torque.

Further up the price ladder is the $90,095 740e xDrive iPerformance that uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo unit and an electric motor, developing a total of 322 HP and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque, for a 0-60mph (96 km/h) sprint in 5.9 seconds, and a top speed of 140 mph (225 km/h).

The German brand's iPerformance plug-in hybrid range ends with the X5 xDrive40e that also gets a 2.0-liter internal combustion unit and electric motor fed by a lithium-ion battery. The SUV that can travel for 14 miles (23 km) on battery power alone costs $63,095.

In addition to the iPerformance and i ranges, BMW will also showcase the updated 2-Series.With an increased output and torque of 248 HP and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm), the 230i Coupe and Convertible take power from a 2.0-liter unit, while the 240i models feature a new 3.0-liter petrol six s good for 335 HP and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque, an additional 15 HP and 39 lb-ft (53 Nm).

The 2017 BMW M760i xDrive draws 601 horses and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque from a turbo'd 12-cylinder engine that allows the luxury sedan to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.7 seconds, and up to a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

If you prefer an even more special 7-Series, the new Alpina B7 xDrive delivers 600 HP and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque from a 4.4-liter 8-cylinder unit, that gets the luxury saloon up to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.6 seconds. The high-performance Alpina model costs $137,995.
