BMW Motorrad has announced some updates for its F 700 GS, F 800 GS and F 800 GS Adventure enduro bikes.
The most significant enhancements concern the 798 cc engine which powers all three motorcycles (in various states of tune). This parallel-twin unit has become compliant with Euro 4 emissions regulations, plus an electromotive 'fly by wire' throttle controller is now fitted.
As standard, there's a choice of Rain and Road riding modes. F 800 GS and F 800 GS Adventure customers can also specify optional Enduro and Enduro Pro settings.
A redesigned tailpipe is one of few visual clues that help to identify the 2017 versions, but dedicated BMW spotters will notice the revised instruments and paintwork changes as well.
