2019 BMW M2 Gran Coupe Release Date
Part of a lineup reshuffling in 2019, the 2 Series and 1 Series families will unite and bring forth new variations, while losing others. One of those new models BMW is a 2 Series Gran Coupe and its M2 Gran Coupe lively form to take the test to the up and coming Audi RS3 vehicle and Mercedes-AMG CLA 45.
While the RS3 and CLA 45 are front-wheel based, the M2 Gran Coupe will highlight a longitudinally mounted motor and back wheel drive, following in the progressions of the amazingly famous M2 Coupe.
With the cutting edge 3 Series vehicle set to develop in size by up to 7 cm, the BMW managers accept there is room beneath the M3/M4 models for a smooth looking and lively four-entryway roadster.
No configuration subtle elements are known right now, however two choices were supposedly on the table – the previously stated four-entryway roadster design and a more radical five-entryway liftback. Insiders say BMW may have settled on the four-entryway alternative for auxiliary inflexibility.
The need to suit two traditional front-pivoted back entryways and adequate back seat extra space to move around is said to be behind the choice to give the new auto a wheelbase that is somewhere between the 2690mm range of the 2 Series Coupé and the 2810mm of the current 3 Series cantina.
Set for dispatch in 2019, the M2 Gran Coupe will yield 365 hp from a turbocharged 3.0-liter in-line six-barrel motor. It will be offered in blend with either a standard six-speed manual or seven-speed dualclutch programmed gearbox
