Fiat sold a total of 3,422 cars in March, up 14 % from the previous month, but lower than the 4,498 cars sold in March 2015. This brings the year-to-date total of Fiats sold in the US to 9,009, down 18 percent over last year's total of 11,038 for the same period.
Still, five years after its introduction and with over 200,000 units sold, the Fiat 500 outsells a number of well-known cars:

The Fiat 500X earned Autotrader.com's Must Test Drive award. Dozens of cars were evaluated by Autotrader, but just 10 winners were chosen. To win a coveted spot on the list, a car must offer good value, boasting excellent equipment and good quality for its price. The Fiat 500X made the list over rivals like the Honda HR-V, Chevrolet Trax, and Mazda CX-3.
The biggest news last month was the unveiling of the Fiat 124 Spider Elaborazione Abarth at the New York Auto Show. The Abarth package turns up the heat with numerous performance enhancing features.
The Elaborazione Abarth has an exclusive Sport Mode that changes the calibrations of the engine, automatic transmission, electric power steering and dynamic stability control system for increased responsiveness. A mechanical limited-slip differential is standard, as is a unique sport suspension that brings mono-tube Bilstein front and rear shock absorbers.
Elaborazione Abarth models get the European Abarth 124 exterior upgrades including hand painted blacked out hood and trunks, just like the legendary Fiat Abarth 124 Rally cars of the 1970s. Interior trim is also upgraded.
