Apple registered the domain names through MarkMonitor last month. The domain names are records on Whois, but are not yet active, MacRumors related.
The Cupertino-based firm is rumored to be working on a self-driving car under the code name of Project Titan.
According to reports, engineers from Project Titan met last year with officials from GoMentum Station, a former naval base near San Francisco that is now being used to test self-driving vehicles.
GoMentum Station, a 5,000-acre former navy weapons station featuring 20 miles of paved roadway, is the largest secure test facility in the world, according to its website. The facility specializes in testing connected vehicles and drones.
"We would...like to get an understanding of timing and availability for the space, and how we would need to coordinate around other parties who would be using [it]," wrote Apple engineer Frank Fearon in internal documents obtained by The Guardian.
In addition, Apple reportedly discussed autonomous vehicle regulations with the California Department of Motor Vehicles.
Apple has also been recruiting automotive engineers from the likes of Tesla, Ford, GM and others, MacRumors noted.
