Ahead of a January unveiling, Hyundai has released some renderings of its new Ioniq.
This compact car's USP will be a choice of three powertrains: all-electric, plug-in gasoline / electric hybrid or gasoline / electric hybrid. Their technical specs haven't been revealed yet, though.
Body styling is intended to be ultra-aerodynamic. While that should help to reduce energy consumption, the result isn't especially distinctive.
The Ioniq's first European appearance is scheduled for the Geneva Motor Show in March.
