Following a meeting of the World Motor Sport Council earlier this week, just one minor change has been made to the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship timetable.
The fifth round will take place at Mexico's Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez a day earlier than originally planned. That means the race is going to be run on a Saturday rather than a Sunday.
Also agreed were technical measures proposed by the Endurance Commission. Focussing mainly on powertrain regulations, aerodynamics and testing limits, these are intended to attract more manufacturers to the LMP1 class.
An official pre-season testing session at Circuit Paul Ricard in France – known as The Prologue – is scheduled for the 25th and 26th of March.
