Special Midnight Edition adds attitude to KBB Best Buy award winner at West Chevrolet
When a model name that has been around as long as the Impala continues to win awards, people take notice. When that award winner is dressed to the nines in all black, it starts turning heads.
The 2016 Chevrolet Impala LTZ Midnight Edition is decked out in the sinister-looking exterior paint job with the black Chevy bowtie badges, black rear spoiler and mirrors and black grille surrounds and 19-inch wheels. Darth Vader would be proud. The dramatic look makes the Impala sleeker. It was based off a 2014 concept from the SEMA Auto Show.
If all-black isn’t your style, the 2016 Impala will still impress. The base 2.5-liter engine churns out up to 196 horsepower and has start/stop technology to aid the fuel efficiency. However, if you want a bit more power, the classic V6 engine can get up to 305 horsepower and 264 lb.-ft. of torque. The V6 is smooth, refined and actually quite quiet.
Opting for the LTZ trim will net you heated and cooled seats and a Bose surround sound system. A large trunk makes the Impala a nice option for Knoxville families looking for that new sedan for the new year. New technology offered for 2016 includes smartphone integration with available Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
