A prominent bonnet decal depicting Colorado’s Black Bear Pass trail makes the new Jeep Wrangler Black Bear Edition instantly identifiable.
Based on the existing Sport S trim grade, it’s being offered in both regular two-door and Unlimited four-door guises.
Additional exterior features include tail light guards, sill-mounted rock rails and black 17” five-spoke wheels shod with Silent Armor tyres. Complementing the selection of nine paintwork colours is a satin black finish for the grille.
The Connectivity Group package also comes as standard. This comprises Uconnect with Bluetooth, an electronic vehicle information centre and tyre pressure monitoring.
As per every other Wrangler sold in North America, power for the Black Bear Edition is provided by a 3.6 litre Pentastar V6 engine. Developing 285 bhp (212 kW / 289 PS) with 352 Nm (260 lb/ft) of peak torque, it can be combined with either a six-speed manual gearbox or an optional five-speed automatic transmission.
