Subaru has confirmed that the WRX STI NR4 Spec competition model is going to be offered in Australia. Homologated according to the FIA's NR4 regulations, only motorsport users will be able to buy it.
Prices start from A$38,000 including GST. An FIA-approved roll cage must be ordered and fitted prior to delivery, while Possum Bourne Motor Sport is developing a range of optional packages to further increase the final invoice amount.
As per the road-going WRX STI, power comes from a 2.0 litre turbocharged boxer engine which is partnered with an all-wheel drive system.
