Paris is set to become a host city for the second FIA Formula E Championship. Its ePrix will be run on a street circuit around the Les Invalides area of the 7th arrondissement.
The 2015/2016 schedule, which has just been approved by the World Motor Sport Council, includes eleven rounds.
Compared to the just-completed inaugural season, the Miami event has disappeared. Also, the Monte Carlo race isn’t on the calendar because it alternates with the biennial Grand Prix de Monaco Historique.
One venue has still to be revealed. However Alejandro Agag, CEO of Formula E, gave a big clue when he said: “As for the location of the fifth round, the one on 19th March, we are working to maintain the same geographic allocation of races: the aim is to have a fourth ePrix on the American continent.”
