Nissan has confirmed that its third LMP1 entry for this year’s Le Mans 24 Hours race will be wearing an evocative colour scheme.
The #21 GT-R LM Nismo’s special blue, red and white livery is in honour of the Group C Nissan R90CK which competed at Le Mans in 1990.
With Mark Blundell behind the wheel, a qualifying lap time of 3:27.020 was good enough to take pole position. Unfortunately, his R90CK ended up being classified as a non-finisher.
Tsugio Matsuda, Lucas Ordonez and Mark Shulzhitskiy are going to be driving the #21 car in 2015.
