Triumph's Speed Triple model line turns 21 this year, so a couple of special editions have been launched to celebrate its coming of age. Called the Speed 94 and Speed 94 R, they're based on the current Speed Triple and Speed Triple R respectively.
Both gain cosmetic tweaks inspired by the original 1994 Speed Triple 900. Their look starts with a choice of Jet Black or Racing Yellow paintwork, which wears some retro decals.
A complementary graphite finish is applied to the frame and side panels, plus numerous components such as the fly screen, belly pan and exhaust silencers are black. Completing the package is a unique tank plaque.
The Speed 94 has an on the road price tag of £9,749, while the Speed 94 R costs £10,999. Somewhat refreshingly, those figures mean that Triumph isn't charging a premium for either bike.
