Although Skoda earlier this year revealed some of the details about the new car, now we have a chance to fully familiar with the vehicle. Stylistically inspired by the concept Vision C, the new Superb still looks more conservative than it was in the first sense. New attractive front and rear lights of the concept are crowding conventional lights. This Superb looks more modern in terms of the old generation.

For the interior, Skoda this model have described as comfortable, spacious and luxurious, and important information is announced about increased luggage space for 30l. Superb III is set to VW MQB modular platform, as well as many other models of this group, so the car is now easier to 75kg. Compared to the previous generation, the new Superb has a longer wheelbase of 80mm, or overall length of 2.841mm.
Although the company has not published official dimensions of the car, passenger sertnaly will have more space. What is more interesting is the width of the cabin, which is increased by 39mm at the front and 69mm at the rear. Future owners of the new Superb will also have various benefits like opening the back door using the sensor - it is enough to set foot under the rear bumper of the vehicle, and the door to boot automatically opens, which is quite useful if both hands are busy, or if the car is dirty.
The car has a hidden hook for towing a trailer, which is activated by simply pulling the handle which is located on the floor of the trunk, and similar like Rolls-Royce, Skoda in the driver's door has placed two umbrellas. The new Superb is equipped with numerous electronic assistance systems that promote greater safety when driving, such as adaptive cruise control, a system that warns the driver if the cross lane, warning of the danger of conflict in the city and the system automatically brakes the vehicle if driver for some reason is not able.
Motorisation of this model includes eight power units. When it comes to gasoline, it will be available 1.4, 1.8 and 2.0-liter turbo gasoline engine from 125 to 280 hp. Buyers will also be available 1.6-liter and 2-liter turbo diesel, whose power extends from 120 to 190 hp. From Skoda confirmed that the most economical model will be equipped with GreenLine diesel engine, which needs only 3,7l / 100km, while producing 95g CO2.
More technical features of the new Skoda Superb at the world premiere in Geneva, which will be held in early March.
