A van-based MPV with enhanced all-terrain ability might seem very niche, but that's exactly what the new Fiat Doblò Trekking is.
Its main distinguishing feature is the Traction+ traction control system. This – along with an under-engine guard and a 10 mm (0.4”) ride-height increase – allows the Doblò to tackle moderate off-road conditions without resorting to a heavy and expensive all-wheel drive transmission.
Also fitted are redesigned bumpers, unique side mouldings and 16” alloy wheels shod with all-season tyres. The specification includes 'eco-leather' and cloth upholstery, rear privacy glass and manual climate control too.
Market launches for the Doblò Trekking are due to start soon after an appearance at next month's Geneva Motor Show.
