Buick Avenir ("future" in French) concept from General Motors with seating for four has the next-generation direct-injected V-6 engine with fuel-saving Active Fuel Management (cylinder deactivation) and stop/start technology with a twin-clutch all-wheel-drive system mated to a nine-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission. The Avenir may have been inspired by the historic Buick Riviera.
