Like so many manufacturers, Chevrolet has resorted to a ‘black look’ for its latest limited-run model. The Silverado Midnight edition, which is based on the existing 1500 LT Z71 variant, gains a variety of suitably dark cosmetic tweaks.
A requisite black finish is applied to the pick-up’s front grille, headlight bezels, side mouldings and bumpers. Those components are matched by a set of 18” alloy wheels shod with Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac all-terrain tyres.
Also included on the extra specification list are rear parking sensors, a spray-in bedliner and heated power-adjustable door mirrors.
Chevrolet is planning to restrict Silverado Midnight edition production to 5,000 units. Buyers are going to have a choice of either double-cab or crew-cab versions, and package prices in the United States will range from $1,595 to $1,995. Sales begin next month.
