This month’s Los Angeles Auto Show will see the public debut of Scion’s iM Concept.
Based on the Toyota Auris five-door hatchback, its look has been inspired by European touring car racing. Accordingly, bodywork modifications include widened wheel arches, extended sills and restyled bumpers that incorporate a front splitter and rear diffuser.
There’s no word yet on an engine. However, the iM Concept should be able to handle a decent level of power because height-adjustable suspension, upgraded brakes and a set of 19” forged aluminium wheels are all part of the specification.
Expect a toned-down production version to be announced soon.
