Next year’s British Touring Car Championship is going to include yet another manufacturer. Infiniti has announced a two-car team, which will use the rear-wheel drive Q50 saloon.
The entry is in collaboration with Support Our Paras, the official charity of The Parachute Regiment. That’s not just a branding exercise though, as injured troops are helping to prepare the NGTC-specification cars.
Furthermore any profits generated by the BTCC squad, known as ‘Infiniti Support Our Paras Racing Team’, are due to be donated to Support Our Paras.
Richard Hawken and Derek Palmer Jnr have been named by Infiniti as its drivers for 2015.
