Ahead of dealers’ XC90 order books opening in October, Volvo has released some images of the sporty R-Design version.
It projects a more purposeful image for the large SUV thanks to a set of 20” five-spoke alloy wheels, matt silver door mirror caps, restyled bumpers and unique metal window surrounds.
The theme continues inside. In addition to front sports seats, the specification is set to include Nubuck and perforated leather upholstery plus special R-Design floor mats, tread plates and pedals.
For those XC90 buyers who don’t fancy the R-Design model, Volvo will also be offering the entry-level Momentum and luxury-orientated Inscription trim grades.
