Nissan has announced that prices for its all-new 2015 Pulsar will start at £15,995.
The five-door, C-segment hatchback is being offered with a choice of Visia, Acenta, n-tec and Tekna trim grades. As standard, all models are equipped with cruise control, Bluetooth, tyre pressure monitoring and air conditioning.
Among the extra features on Acenta versions are automatic lights and wipers, dual-zone climate control, forward emergency braking and heated door mirrors. The Pulsar n-tec then adds a reversing camera, larger 17” wheels, rear privacy glass and the NissanConnect 2 infotainment system. At the top of the range, Tekna variants also come with leather upholstery, heated front seats, power folding door mirrors and a comprehensive suite of safety devices.
Deciding on an engine should be a simple process, as for now the selection is restricted to either a 113 bhp (85 kW / 115 PS) 1.2 litre petrol or a 108 bhp (81 kW / 110 PS) 1.5 litre diesel. They’re due to be joined by a 1.6 litre turbocharged petrol motor producing 187 bhp (140 kW / 190 PS) early in 2015, though.
UK sales of the 2015 Pulsar begin in the autumn.
