Two Corvette Stingray design packages that were originally revealed as concepts at last year’s SEMA Show are now going to enter production.
The first, called Atlantic, is available for 2LT and 3LT convertible models equipped with the Z51 performance pack. Its bodywork tweaks comprise chrome ‘Torque’ wheels, an extended front splitter and a Shark Gray finish for the vents and bonnet centre section. Also included in the specification are a custom luggage set and an under-hood liner.
Alternatively, the Pacific is based on the Corvette Stingray coupé. Like the Atlantic, it’s being offered only with the 2LT and 3LT trim grades, plus buyers must order the Z51 option. On the inside, sports seats are fitted along with some special floor mats and carbon fibre trim pieces.
There’s plenty of visible carbon fibre on the outside too, as it’s used for the front splitter, side skirts, rear spoiler, roof panel and door mirror caps. Completing the look are satin black wheels, red brake calipers and satin black graphics that are complemented by a choice of Black, Shark Gray, Torch Red, Blade Silver or Arctic White paintwork.
Sales of the 2015 Corvette Stingray Atlantic and Pacific will begin later this year.
