Cadillac has announced the arrival of the Crimson Sport Edition, a special version of its ATS compact four-door saloon.
With that name it’s unsurprising that the only body finish available is a fetching shade called Crimson Red Metallic. The paintwork is complemented by a full body kit, a rear spoiler and 18” dark silver ‘Manoogian’ wheels.
On the inside, the extra specification comprises heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and a micro-fibre suede covering for both the steering wheel and gearshift lever. Buyers have a choice of Jet Black, Caramel, Light Platinum or Morello Red cabin colour schemes, all of which come with black trim accents.
In the United States, the ATS Crimson Sport Edition costs from $46,010 when based on the Performance Collection model with its 272 bhp (203 kW / 276 PS) 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
Alternatively, a 321 bhp (239 kW / 325 PS) normally-aspirated 3.6 litre V6 powers the Premium Collection variant. In this guise either rear- or all-wheel drive can be specified and prices start at $51,010.
