Few people would describe the BMW X1 as particularly handsome, especially when it’s viewed from the front.
The changes being introduced for the 2014 model year probably aren’t going to alter that, mainly because they’re limited to revised front bumper air intake vents, redesigned alloy wheels and the addition of daytime running lights.
Undoubtedly the X1 continues to look much better in M Sport guise.
On the inside, the more premium variants get soft-touch trim covering the instrument binnacle, plus there’s a greater choice of cabin trims including pearl-gloss chrome and matt coral red. Buyers will also be able to avail of extra online functions for the optional Connected Drive Services system.
The 2014 BMW X1 is due to reach showrooms in the spring.
