BMW is expanding its six-cylinder touring bike range with the introduction of the K 1600 GT Sport.
The ‘Sport’ part of that name might be slightly misleading though, as there’s no extra performance and the chassis set-up remains standard. Indeed, the only changes compared to the regular GT model are a lower windshield and a unique seat design.
Completing the package is a smart Sakhir Orange / Black Storm two-tone colour scheme that’s complemented by gloss black wheels.
A UK price has yet to be announced, but in Germany the K 1600 GT Sport costs €20,920 (including VAT at 19%). It’ll be available at dealers from next month.
