An Adam city car kitted out for fire brigade duties was definitely Opel’s most unusual exhibit at the recent RETTmobil emergency vehicle show.
Designed as a rapid first response car, the concept features several blue lights and a high-visibility paintjob. On the inside, a specially adapted luggage compartment holds various pieces of rescue equipment including a fire extinguisher and defibrillator.
Among the other models on display was a Zafira Tourer emergency doctor’s car. Already offered by Opel Special Vehicles, it comes with an upgraded electrical system, two-way radio preparation and numerous warning lights.
