The last European-spec Escort was so mediocre, Ford decided to call its successor Focus instead to help banish the memories. But now the Escort nameplate is set to return, although this time around it’ll be appearing on a new compact model for the Chinese market.
Revealed at the Auto Shanghai show, the Escort Concept is a traditional three-box saloon that Ford reckons will provide lots of interior space with plenty of technology.
