Seat has revealed a three-door version of its Leon hatchback. Called the SC (which stands for Sports Coupé), a slightly shortened wheelbase plus a more inclined rear screen give it a distinctive look.
Practicality doesn’t appear to have suffered though, as the SC retains the same luggage capacity and rear headroom of the five-door version.
S, SE and FR trim grades will be available in the UK, with a familiar line-up of turbocharged petrol and diesel engines that range in power from 103 bhp (77 kW / 105 PS) to 177 bhp (132 kW / 180 PS).
The new Seat Leon SC is due to make its public debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Pricing has yet to be announced.
