The current SsangYong Rodius MPV scores well on practicality, equipment levels and pricing. However, it’s never going to enter the annals of elegant vehicle design.
At least it seems that the thorny issue of looks has been considered for the next-generation Rodius (called Stavic in some markets and Korando Turismo in Korea). Judging by the first renderings, which have just been revealed, its appearance promises to be a significant improvement.
For now, very few specification details are known, but SsangYong has said that there’ll be a choice of either a 2.0 litre diesel or a 3.2 litre petrol engine when sales begin later this year.
