Toyota Racing has updated its TS030 Hybrid race car ahead of the 2013 World Endurance Championship.
Although the regulations for this season have only permitted minor tweaks, changes have been made to the aerodynamics, chassis and hybrid powertrain that combines a 522 bhp (390 kW / 530 PS), 3.4 litre, normally-aspirated V8 petrol engine with a 295 bhp (220 kW / 300 PS) electric motor.
This year’s WEC comprises eight rounds, including the Le Mans 24 Hours in June. Toyota has confirmed that it’ll be running a two-car team at every event.
The driver line-up for the #7 TS030 is going to be Alex Wurz, Nicolas Lapierre and Kazuki Nakajima, while behind the wheel of the #8 car will be Anthony Davidson, Stéphane Sarrazin and Sébastien Buemi.
