How to prepare your car for the winter

Everyone needs to know that every vehicle need to be prepared for the winter. Here is a few advice for you, how to prepare your own vehicle.

Check and Replace the fluids

You need to check the oil, water and antifreeze. See if you have enough and whether you drip from somewhere. Smart thing to do is to check your brakes. If you are using water for cleaning the windshield, then replace the water with special fluid who doesn't freeze.

Check the Battery and Electrics

Cold weather is the enemy of cars battery. Simple test to check the battery is the inclusion of lights before you turn on the engine. If the lights become faint after you start, you  should check the battery at professional.

Maximize the Visibility

Due to the cloudy days which brings winter, snow and ice can significantly reduce visibility. So we need to keep beside us something to assist us. We should always need to have  in our cars a towel for the windows, and for the outside we need working wipers.

Winter Equipment

We need to have snow brush, ice chisel, first aid kid and a tow rope and of course the most important driving snow-chains for the wheels. We may nod ever need them but it is better to have than to get fined by the police.  The most important thing is the tires. We need to replace our summer tires with winter tires.
