Husqvarna has announced that 2013 model year versions of its Nuda 900 and Nuda 900R will be available with optional anti-lock brakes.
The disengageable dual-channel Bosch 9MP system chosen by the firm is compact and, at around one kilo, lightweight too. It complements the existing set-up that comprises four-piston radial Brembo calipers for the front discs (which are upgraded to monobloc items for the ‘R’ version) and a two-piston Brembo caliper for the single rear disc.
Everything else about the bikes remains unchanged, and so power continues to come from a 103 bhp (77 kW / 105 PS) parallel-twin engine. With a capacity of 898 cc, it’s derived from the unit used in parent company BMW’s range of F Series bikes.
UK prices have yet to be confirmed.
