Ford Motor Co. will aggressively market its new C-MAX Hybrid against Toyota Motor Corp.'s Prius v.
The Dearborn automaker on Thursday launched a nationwide television and digital ad campaign that compares the attributes of the C-MAX Hybrid to that of the Prius v.
The C-MAX is less expensive, gets better fuel economy and more horsepower, but lacks the name recognition of the Prius v.
C-MAX started to hit dealers last month.
