Lexus is attempting to widen the appeal of its CT 200h petrol-electric hybrid compact with the introduction of an entry-level ‘S’ trim grade.
Not only is the new variant cheaper but, thanks to the fitment of 15” alloy wheels and a larger rear spoiler, it’s greener too as carbon dioxide emissions drop from the usual 94 g/km to just 87 g/km.

The opportunity has also been taken to realign the rest of the CT 200h range for 2013, and incorporate some minor equipment upgrades.
Deliveries of the revised models are due to start at the beginning of November.
