Fiat USA has just reported July sales figures, and sales of the Fiat 500 have maintained their brisk pace. Fiat sold 3,710 cars in July, up 22 percent over last year's sales of 3,038. The Fiat 500c Cabrio did exceptionally well last month, recording a triple digit sales increase compared to last year's July totals.
Fiat has continued its aggressive marketing and social media campaign it kicked off during the 2012 Super Bowl last February. July featured a splashy new commercial and a relaunched website with a new Blog to keep the Fiat 500 in front of consumers eyes. Additionally, the Fiat 500 also picked up another award, being named one of the “10 Coolest Cars Under $18,000” by editors at Consumer Guide Automotive. An attractive year end sale has also been offered to give sales a bump during the summer months.
